Jerram Falkus 'Design a Christmas Card' Competition 2012

This card was designed by Deniz Yildiz of Seabright Primary School the winner of our 'Design a Christmas Card' Competition 2012. Here is Deniz's winning design (click for larger image):

Avenue Primary School (September 2012)

Phase one of this project consisted of two new buildings. Classroom block and admin block and also minor alterations to the existing building and external works.

The two story classroom block houses 8 classrooms. 4 group rooms.

The external walls are finished with 140mm rockwall insulation with sto render. The balcony soffit and external staircase is clad in trespa panelling.

It commenced in July 2011, and had a split handover - the classroom block handover was scheduled for 16/07/12, and this was achieved while the admin building is scheduled for completion and handover shortly.

Baldwin Terrace Art Installation (May 2012)

Jerram Falkus are delighted to be sponsors of the 'Void' art installation by artist Aeneas Wilder based on our site Baldwin Terrace. We thank Edward Cullinan Architects who also support this project.

An exhibition about the project is currently taking place at the August Art Gallery in Shoreditch curated by Winnie Sze

EETV achieves Financial Close (17 February 2012)

Jerram Falkus Construction Ltd have signed a contract with Thames Partnership for Learning Regeneration Ltd to deliver 276 new flats and terraced town houses at East End Thames View, Bastable Avenue, Barking, Essex.

The £36.70 million Design & Build Contract has commenced with the diversion of utility services and site clearance, and will be completed in Summer 2014 when Barking & Dagenham Council will take over the units to provide affordable rented accommodation for its residents.

Our Design Team comprises:

• Pollard Thomas Edwards Architects
• Arup, Structural, Environmental and Services Engineers
• Plincke Landscape Architects

The development will be constructed to achieve Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4, performing to high environmental standards. The external areas around the development will provide safe play areas for all young age groups and ecological habitats to encourage wildlife.

We are delighted to be working in partnership with the local community at Thames View, as well as the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, Thames Partnership for Learning Regeneration Ltd and institutional asset developer Long Harbour.
